1. Who we are
This website is operated by Chengdu Gulda Glue Industry Co., Ltd. ("GUERDA", "we", "us"), a manufacturer of adhesives and rodent glue traps registered in Chengdu, Sichuan, China.

2. Information you give us
When you send an inquiry we collect the details you enter: name, company, country, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, the product you are interested in, the quantity you are considering and the content of your message.
If an inquiry develops into an order we also hold the commercial documents you send us — purchase orders, shipping instructions, artwork files and correspondence.
3. Information collected automatically
Our server records standard technical data for every request: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request. We use this to keep the site available, to diagnose faults and to understand which pages are useful.
We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from this data, and we do not combine it with the information you submit through the inquiry form.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses a small number of first-party cookies. A session cookie keeps the inquiry form working and protects it against cross-site request forgery. A preference cookie remembers the language you selected.
If analytics is enabled, it is set by the site operator and records aggregated page views. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site continues to work, although your language choice may not be remembered.
5. How we use your information
We use your information to answer your inquiry, prepare a quotation, arrange samples, process and ship orders, issue export documents, provide after-sales support, keep accounting and tax records, and comply with customs and export-control obligations.
We also use aggregated visit data to maintain and improve the website. We do not use your inquiry details for automated decision-making or profiling.
6. Legal bases
Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on: your consent (when you submit an inquiry), performance of a contract (when you order), our legitimate interests (running and securing the website, responding to business enquiries) and legal obligation (tax, customs and export records).
Where the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China applies, we process personal information on the basis of your consent or as necessary to conclude or perform a contract with you.
7. Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary with: freight forwarders and shipping lines, customs brokers, testing and certification laboratories, our email and hosting providers, and professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers. Authorities receive data where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not pass inquiry details to unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
8. International transfers
Our business is based in China, so your information will be processed in China. Some service providers (email, hosting, analytics) may process data outside your country.
Where required, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, and we limit the data transferred to what the service actually needs.
9. How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not become orders are kept for up to 36 months so that we can pick up the conversation again. Order, shipping and financial records are kept for 10 years to meet Chinese accounting and export requirements. Server logs are kept for 12 months.
When a retention period ends, records are deleted or anonymised.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time.

11. Security
Access to inquiry data is limited to staff who need it for export sales. The site is served over encrypted connections, administrative access is password protected and the database is not publicly reachable.
No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the relevant authority where the law requires it.
12. Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The revision date at the top of the page always shows the current version. Material changes will be announced on this page.
